RAFFLES PLACE AND ITS BANKER FLORIST
Set in the heart of Singapore’s financial district, Raffles Place is home to a good number of major banks and features some of the tallest and most architecturally remarkable buildings in the country. Singapore pegs herself to be a “Garden City” and in a concrete jungle like Raffles Place, it becomes increasingly essential for people to have a space with flora or fauna to take a break and destress. Otherwise, ordering a bouquet of fresh flowers from online florist, Floristique, for a friend working in the area is also a good way to show that you care.
Floristique is the brainchild of Wendy, who also worked in the banking and finance industry before she decided to leave her high-paying job to become a florist. She fondly remembers her old workplace to be cut-throat and cold but is occasionally brightened up by an unprecedented delivery of blooms for someone in her office. To Wendy, flowers have always acted as a mood lifter since she was a little girl.
Holding on to that memory and her immense love of flowers and foliage since she was a child, Wendy decided to start her own online floral shop in hopes of providing all her customers with the same feeling of happiness she felt whenever there was a vase or bouquet of seasonal blooms in the room.
Floristique offers a wide range of products good for celebrating birthdays, grand openings and other festivities. Some of the products include gourmet hampers that come with bottles of bird’s nest, flower baskets, flower bouquets and snack hampers.
